Advisory Board
The CAT Advisory Board assists the OCCC CAT department in the building of curriculum, internship programs and networking student graduates with industry professionals.
The Advisory Board meets on a twice a year and is composed of 15-20 people who are representatives of the industry.
The Advisory Board members have two primary functions:
- To assist in the development of curriculum
- To volunteer time and knowledge towards educating staff and students
The CAT department of OCCC needs a willing and educated Advisory Board to ensure that our curriculum provides students with the education they need to enter the job field. Without this input from these industry leaders we can only hope our students are prepared for the career that awaits them.
